Assignment 2: A Day in NUS

Please click to view a larger version. Thanks!

Comments from the class were that the story doesnt flow because of the mcdonald and corn.
Better to group food together and facilities together.

Thanks! Will improve on it!
Okay... after much wait, this is the 2nd version below.
The challenging part of this assignment is to make sure that the file size is 'under control', which means small sized yet good quality.
I had a hard time resizing and making sure that the quality of the pictures are not being compromised. The whole website falls a little bit under 180K. *phew*

After consultation with Mr Julian, I made some adjustments to the text in the pictures to make the composition of the words and picture blends.
Final Version. =)

NM3208

Hi this is my first post for module NM3208 (DESIGNING CONTENT FOR NEW MEDIA) .Basically its the level-up module for NM2208, thus I decided to use the same blog to pen my learning process! =)

For assignment 1, it was really an eye opener to CSS for our group as all of us have never touch CSS before!!
Well, we managed to do a few overnights and revamped the existing MDLE website!! ^_^

http://web3208.visualcomms.com/u0600988/A1/modified/
This is the link for our new MDLE website.

As shown above, we have categorized the original messy navigation bar to the main 5 links which are: Home, About Us, Loans, Tutorials, Links.

Our theme for the new MDLE website is to adopt a clean, organized, cool, hi-tech look, neat and consistent appearance.

Changes made:
1. Navigation bar is on the right throughout the website.
2. Fonts: Arial San Serif, black and red.
3. 3 column grid arrangement throughout the website.

We decided that the "1,2,3,4,5 NEXT " to be put on the right hand side so that it is visible and doesnt not hurt readability.
